Frequently asked questions

Why choose ARCNEXX?

We offer high-quality prefabricated homes that can be shipped quickly across Australia. We feature competitive pricing and a superior waterproofing system. We use high-quality 50-75mm Panelling (EPS) for the main walls and roof, with double-glazed windows in all our tiny homes. This ensures a comfortable living environment throughout the year.

Are ARCNEXX products built to Australian Standards?

Our relocatable homes meet the standards of a caravan and are regulated by the Caravan Standards of Australia. We take great pride in ensuring that our Tiny Homes are fit for purpose and have as many of the materials and designs that we need in Australia. Our electrical wiring systems have been developed and specified by fully qualified electricians, and our plumbing has WELS ratings to ensure you get the best quality fittings and fixtures.

Will my ARCNEXX product be relocatable?

Yes! While units installed on trailers are the easiest to move, all our homes and pods are designed to be relocatable.

Do you offer delivery?

We proudly deliver Australia-wide, ensuring your product reaches your site safely and in excellent condition. While we will do our best to accommodate your requirements, final placement of the product at the delivery location cannot be guaranteed.

Does ARCNEXX install the home?

While we primarily supply the units, we can recommend reliable contractors for setup. We also provide a full-colour instruction manual and dedicated phone support.

Is there Council Approval for our products?

Council approval requirements depend on your property, location, intended use and how the home is classified.

Some homes positioned on trailers or wheels may be treated differently from permanent dwellings, including as caravans or relocatable dwellings. However, requirements vary between states and local councils.

We recommend checking with your local council before purchasing or installing. Our team can also help explain the common configurations our customers choose and provide relevant product information for your enquiry.

What extra costs can I expect?

You should plan for utility connection costs. A licensed plumber is generally required for sewer, septic, and gas connections. Air conditioning and some appliances may be additional expenses.

What type of foundation is required?

To be classed as a caravan, units must stay on our trailers. Alternatively, they can be placed on permanent foundations after obtaining council permission.

Are units suitable for flood or fire zones?

As registrable caravans, they can be set up in these zones and moved relatively easily if needed.

Can my space be modified?

Yes! Custom upgrades are available, including gas hot water systems, split-system AC, and off-grid solar packages.

How is power & water connected?

Just like a traditional caravan, power is connected via a 15 amp lead, and water can be a simple hose hookup.

Are your products insulated?

Yes, we use 50mm–75mm EPS panels in walls and roofs, ensuring comfort in Australia’s harsh climate.
